Tiny Foot Prints

So i found out after orlandos delivery that they no longer take the babies feet and hand prints at the hospital! i have been wanting to do it my self since he was born!! and now, 7 months and 1 week later! i have finally done it! not exactly as small as when he was 8lbs 6 oz but hey 20 lbs is a kot smaller than the 175+ that he will be he grows up! it was so funny and really difficult to get his prints!! he really wanted to grab the ink pad and eat it, which to me didnt seem like a good idea so im fighting with him to only get it on his feet and not get his feet in his mouth.. then getting him to stand still and press his foot in one spot on the paper was a whole new battle! so as i am juggling holding his foot down and keeping his hand out of his mouth and keeping his other foot off the paper... i think we got some really cute prints for his baby book! when i finished getting red ink all over him and me i went to wash it off and realized that my non-toxic ink pad wasnt washable... so my little baby's feet were completely stained red! it was so cute i took some pictures to share!

Little Gym!

so today completes our 1st month of orlandos little gym class! after class i am always so excited i call my mom or cant wait to tell someone about how much fun we had in class and how much orlando is learning and developing! today we had the pleasure of daddy/gabriel coming with us so he filmed and took some pictures! im so excited to give you a peek into what we look forward to every sat morning! we sing some songs first and i couldnt do them justice so here is a video of some of my favorite songs we did today followed by some pictures! enjoy!

smashed potatoes and applesauce

I am so beat! ive been working really hard this week to get up by 7 am! last night gabriel and i passed out watching tv by 9 and i was still in my jeans and the light was on! but on the bright side i have been getting a lot done during the day and feeling way more accomplished. orlando has been eating three solid meals a day! it is so cute he gets so messy! and its adorable to see what different foods he loves or hates. Food he loves he practically dives his mouth into the spoon and if he is unsure about it he eats it with a strange look on his face the entire time! or foods he absolutly hates and puts it in his mouth and then blows a raspberry and sprays baby food everywhere! It is so hard not to just start laughing at him. his favorites are apples and blueberries, sweet potatoes, and apples and prunes. He LOVES bananas in his little net thing! O has moved to only 2 naps a day which is quite and adjustment for both of us! but its really great seeing him grow! he is rocking on his knees now and rolling from front to back with ease! here are some pics of o eating and drinking from the past month and the video is his first time eating solids! enjoy!

7 MONTHS??? NO WAY!

i am in totally and utter shock that my sweet baby boy was born 7 whole months ago today! it seems like i just brought him home from the hospital and he slept all the time and we just snuggled! now its much less snuggling and a lot of watching him learn something new every minute!! just yesterday he started staying up on his knees and rocking!! my baby is going to be crawling soon!!!! he is becoming so mobile! it is so amazing being with him for all his firsts and seeing my baby grow! he is getting bigger everyday! i swear he is 1 lb heavier and 1 in taller every morning when i get him out of bed! im finding my days are becoming so full with the task of being a mommy it is my favorite job for sure which is good because it is definitally the most time consuming! he is doing so good with his eating and even though he doesnt have any teeth yet is handeling the finger foods really good! Gabriel and i only have a week left of our diet and am so proud of how consistant we have been and especially gabriel! if i worked at starbucks i dont know how i could not frink coffee!! but you can bet we will be at starbucks first thing in the morning next monday! now off to one of my many addictions angry birds!! good night!
