cucumber or zuccini?

So I am on this new diet thing for a few weeks and have been cooking all kinds of new foods! i havent been able to blog because cooking takes a lot of time and energy! on monday i made a really yummy veggie soup that took 2 hours! with all the chopping and what have you... but it was well worth it. for dinner that night i made a salad that was also really yummy! it had oranges, onion, spinich, a balsamic vinigarette dressing and what i thought to be a cucumber.... after my sweet husband took a few bites he was making really funny faces i asked him what was wrong and he smiled and said it was fine and kept on eating, all the while still making these funny faces. i asked him again what was wrong and he said "nothing i just never thought i would be eating raw zuccini..." HAHA i mistook zuccini for a cucumber... shows how much i know about my fruits and veggies. But i ate my salad and actually enjoyed it! all the food i made yesterday was really yummy too! but today it was horrible! i put too much salt in my oatmeal and it tasted like the ocean... then the salad i made was as if i put olive oil on some weeds... ugh! hopfully this gets better tomorrow! it doesnt help that its "that time of the month" and all i want is peanut butter and ice cream! whaa!

Rubber Duckie your the one....

So today I had lunch with my mom and kevin in Walnut Creek. It was so much fun! His gramdma gave him a piece of bread to teeth on! it was so cute! it was the so funny to watch him chew on it! it is the only thing he has had besides infant cereal and mashed up and green beans! when we got home from church with katie and jax orlando took a bath! i was inspired while watching orlando play. Being a mom is so much fun! the littlest things like watching orlando scoop up bubbles and laugh sooo hard when i dump water on his head melts my heart! i am so thankful i have been blessed with this amazing gift of being a mommy! everyone tells you before your baby is born that you will love them more and more everyday and i dont think i really understood until today. i really do love my sweet son more and more everyday! even though when he was born i thought i could never love anything that much! so i took some pictures of our bath time together to share in my moment of understanding and love! enjoy!

Orlando's First Trip to the Park!

Orlando and I had such a blast going to frozen yoguart and the park with his best friends Addy and Jax and his Aunties Rebecca and Katie! It was so funny getting to talk outside over yoguart, all our kids were so well behaved! after fro yo we stopped by tummies to tots and i got a great sling and pair of shoes for o! so exciting! The park we went to was right around the corner and was such a great park! It was so great to get out with good friends and going to the park with baby o was something that i was really looking forward to as a mommy! It SURPASSED all my expectations! i am so excited for spring so we can go to the park all the time! Orlando and Jax had such a good time on the swings and playing in the grass, it was orlando's frist time feeling grass and he thought it was so cool! We have some great pictures and i must say how proud i am that the ones of Katie and Jax i took! :) If anyone knows of any really cool parks like this one let me know! i think i want to have like a traveling park group once a week in summer and get to see all the great local parks!

Introduction to me!....

So as some of you may know that I am assisting Katie with her Photography business! on monday we did a shoot for her website/blog most of its on boldboudoir but in the middle we had an impromptu family shoot with gabriel and baby o. i wanted to post some of the pics from that and also some from Jax's 5month shoot that Orlando crashed:) I am having so much fun learning photography and some editing! im really hoping to run with this as a new hobby/career! Besides having fun at photo sessions and working Katie and I have been having a blast sharing everything from mama drama to study the word. Im so thankful for all my friends and am at a really happy point in my life despite the whirlwind of drama floating around me! Baby O is growing soo fast i cant even blink! He is at the stage in his young little life that it seems like he picked up on something new every second! im excited to see him grow and develop but also wish he would just stay my tiny baby boy forever! Last week we had a scare that he was going to need surgry for a hernia and thank God that he was healed! on top of that he was sick all last week and is starting to feel a lot better! He is such a happy baby and a really good boy! AND he has greenbeans for the first time last night and actually liked them! yey progress!!!! ok i believe i have rambled enough for now!!! enjoy my pics!
